Polar Asset Management Partners

With offices in Toronto, Calgary and New York, Polar is home to an important private collection of Post-War & Contemporary Canadian and Indigenous art. Featuring several hundred artworks at any given time, the displayed collection is rehung and rotated by our team every year to showcase new acquisitions and tell a compelling visual story about the history of art-making in Canada. During the initial phases, we worked closely with the project architects to advise on finishes, lighting and signage, and to design a custom, climate-controlled art storage room. In addition to programming and advising, we implemented a QR-code program that invites employees and visitors to learn about the works on display.
